All aboard! We spent the day cruising with Padelford Riverboats, spotting an eagle, turtles, and herons along the way — plus soaking up some local history from the water. Wildlife, sunshine, and good company: hard to beat that combo.

We enjoyed a picnic on the water this afternoon with Bear Boating of White Bear Lake, MN! A blue heron glided by, loons and gulls kept us company, geese made an appearance, we heard about the history of the lake, and boats waved as they passed. Mostly, though, it was the fresh air and beautiful weather that made the day.
